Soil’s Alive!
Join a DCR park interpreter for a talk and demonstrations investigating the microbiology of healthy soils. Get the dirt on soil glue and how it can help contribute to healthier plants, better nutrition, bigger flowers, less erosion and cleaner water. Meet in the Great Hall. After the demonstrations, join in an optional Discovery Center grounds site walk to visit soil sample locations and consider how you can make a difference in soil health no matter whether you have access to potted plants or acres!
