Pocumtuck Homelands Festival: A Celebration of Native American Art, Music, and Cultures

July 20, 2019

This free two day weekend long celebration at Unity Park in Turners Falls is sponsored by the Nolumbeka Project and RiverCulture. On Saturday August 3, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., families will enjoy visiting the Northfield Mountain and Discovery Center tent at Unity Park while creating a fun make and take nature-themed craft. People have gathered at the Great Falls for thousands of years, and this event is the perfect combination of live music, drumming, dancing, storytelling, native crafts and food. Rain location for the festival is at the Great Falls Discovery Center. For more information on the entire event, please visit nolumbekaproject.org.
