Michael Nix has received international acclaim with performances on banjo, guitar, mandolin and his self-designed Banjar. His work uses traditional classical techniques, with influences from electronic music, folk, jazz and world music. His music has been heard on NPR’s “Weekend Edition”, and on WGBH’s “Morning Pro Musica”.
He will be joined by; Chris Devine, Gloria Matlock, Lisa Davol & Wylie Robbins, for an evening of Classical, Folk, Jazz and multi-instrumental fusions.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Suggested sliding scale donation $6–$12. Free for children. Coffee and homemade baked goods available. Museum open during intermission. Donations help provide free nature programming. Wheelchair accessible.
