John Root Program: Wildflowers of the Northeast

May 24, 2015

John Root Program: Wildflowers of the Northeast

“Wildflowers of the Northeast”, a 90 minute presentation featuring our region’s native and naturalized flora, will be offered by naturalist John Root at 6:30 PM on Thursday, June 18 at the Great Falls Discovery Center, 2 Avenue A in Turners Falls. Free. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Montague Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

John Root’s presentation in the Great Hall coincides with the town-wide event, Third Thursday in Turners Falls. Check out the Third Thursday scene about town (see www.turnersfallsriverculture.org for full schedule), and then stop at the Center and enjoy a flowery talk.
