The Friends of the Great Falls Discovery Center present a year-long series of talks, workshops, walks, performances, and exhibits during 2024 all about Food, Farms, and Factories. Building on the successes of the Smithsonian’s Crossroads: Change in Rural America exhibit and programming in 2023, the Friends Group received another round of programming funds from Mass Humanities and the Massachusetts Cultural Council to continue conversations about life in rural Turners Falls and Franklin County.
