Check out the annual draining of the Turners Falls canal for maintenance and take a stroll along the Canalside Rail Trail and absorb some local history. Wear walking shoes and meet at the entrance of the Center for this free two mile walk on flat terrain. In partnership with Montague Public Libraries, this is the kick-off event for a series of Turners Falls Canal District programs. Meet at the main entrance to the Discovery Center.
