The Great Falls Discovery Center hosts community programs and events, rotating art exhibits in our Great Hall and a Coffee House hosted by the Friends of the Great Falls Discovery Center.

  • Great Hall Art Exhibit: Migrations

    Migrations celebrates the human and natural diversity of the upper Connecticut River Valley and the Americas. Paintings are curated by Guatemaya Art and Culture Connection. Colorful works depict scenes integral to village life, Mayan culture, and the history of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.

  • Story Walk® Series Honk! Honk!

    Enjoy a story, fresh air, and exercise! Join us on the grounds of the center for a FREE self-guided StoryWalk® featuring children’s picture book Honk! Honk! by Mick Manning.   • Re-envisioning the Canal District: A Community Planning Workshop

    This interactive event is the third and final community workshop for Canal District Master Plan – a redevelopment plan for the 16 acres of former mill sites along the canal. Come learn what’s in store. In partnership with Montague Public Libraries and the Town of Montague’s planning department. Meet in the Great Hall.
