DESCRIPTION:This free workshop with Erica Wheeler of senseofplaceconsulting.com offers a powerful sequence of guided writing prompts to create a sense of place  “touchstone story”. Tap into a well of creativity inside you by exploring your sense of place. Find connections between your inner world and meaningful places from your past and present. Limited to 12 participants. Suitable for all levels of experience\, from the perpetually curious to the seasoned pro. Bring a journal and pen. You’re welcome to bring a bag lunch and enjoy the view\, and shoes for a short walk on the trails after the workshop ends. \n“Crossroads: Change in Rural America” will be on view at the Great Falls Discovery Center\, 2 Avenue A in Turners Falls from February 5 to March 18\, 2023. The exhibition is part of Museum on Main Street\, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Mass Humanities. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.
